Urban gospel trio, Preachers, continue to make their mark in the music industry as they grabbed the enviable “Most Wanted Rap Song of the Year” award with their hit song “Crazy” at the 4th Annual Christian Community Music Awards (CCMA) which happened on Sunday, 1st May 2016, at the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry(CEM) in Accra.
The Christian Community Music Awards is organized every year to celebrate and commend gospel artistes in the country for their great efforts in the music industry. This year’s edition gathered a ton of gospel music lovers across the nation who were thrilled by powerful performances by Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Bernice Offei, Cindy Thompson, Joe Mettle and many more.
Clad in trendy boots and fancy jackets, the trio took majestic strides to pick up the Most Wanted Rap Song award with an accompaniment by their management team, Radah Empire.
This was the acceptance speech by group member, Obed Psych
“We thank God Almighty for this humbling award. We’ve won the most wanted rap song award three times in a row and we dedicate this one to the new generation of ministers that will use unconventional ways to draw souls to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We also thank Gospeltown Africa, Radah Empire, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, Bishop Ben Sallah and all the men of God behind us. God bless you so much. Thank you. Bibles Up!!!”
