Being the only gospel artistes on the night’s bill, the interminable trio, Preachers, graced the atmosphere with God’s presence at the Y Invasion held at the Republic Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology last Saturday. With the venue filled to capacity, the group performed two of their hit songs, ‘’Crazy’’ and “No Juju”. Crazy got the crowd really charged up and there was no doubt they had fallen in love with the gospel hip hop groove.
Although it was the group’s first visit to the school, the crowd responded positively to the ministrations leaving them in awe as they danced along to the harmonious tunes. Clad in trendy jackets and fashionable boots, Preachers left a mark and it was obvious that the audience had a great experience with the urban gospel vibe.
Gospel Town, Management of Preachers give profound appreciation to God for using the organizers of Y Invasion to recognize the urban gospel movement in a nonreligious setting. We also give gratitude to God for his unwavering love, preservation and guidance to the group.
