Africa Gospel Music Award winners for Best Rap Artist(s), Preachers are out with their latest single, Meyi W’aye, featuring Noble Nketiah.
Recorded by Laxio Beats, Meyi W’aye, an afro pop song glorifies God for His wonderful works. With a blend of English and Twi rap, the song encourages everyone to have hope in the Lord for He is the only true God who never disappoints.
Preachers raps about how great the Lord has been to them from the day they started their music career. They go on to say that, no child of God has been disappointed by worshipping God in truth.
The Meyi W’aye track is a single off Preachers’ upcoming album titled The Fearless Project which will be launched alongside their Biblesup Foundation on August 3 at the Holiday Inn Hotel with Noble Nketiah as the main supporting artiste.
Preachers made up of Emani, Obed Psych and Eddy told Showbiz they want to make Ghanaians proud by winning more international awards.
“ We are glad our music has been accepted and we hope this song blesses many souls across the world”.
Other songs Preachers are known for include No Juju, Be With U, E Dey Love Me and Go Hard.
The video for Go Hard released on January, 2012, found its way to Rapzilla and won the Most Wanted Song of the Year Award in the Christian Community Music Awards in 2013.
Preachers who are also winners of the Discovery of the Year Award at the Ghana Gospel Music Awards in 2012 was formed in 2009.
